Julia serves on the Boards of the Ybor City Saturday Morning Market and the Nonprofit Leadership Center of Tampa Bay, which provides training and connects nonprofit leaders to strengthen organizations and our communities. In the past, she has also served as Treasurer of the Asian Pacific American Bar Association of Tampa Bay.  Julia also leads a college community group with her husband Doug at Christ Fellowship Church in Seminole Heights.

Julia is an almost-Tampa native (detour by birth in Cleveland).  Julia graduated from Hillsborough High School, going on to major in Political Science at Wellesley College and earned her J.D. at the University of Florida – Levin College of Law.  It has been exciting to witness the change and development in Tampa since its “sleepier” days in the 80’s and 90’s.
