Nestor Ortiz has been involved in youth and community development for more than 25 years and is committed to the holistic impact that youth and community programs can have on larger communities. He is an advocate on behalf of numerous historically vulnerable communities through his participation in various agencies, associations, coalitions and grassroots movements. He is the founder of #WorkingintheGrey, a grassroots movement, challenging people to see past the political lines that encourage division in our communities and is also the host of Duality of Sorts, a video series that explores various topics in social justice, politics, and culture. Nestor is currently the President & CEO of 16 Point Compass, a consulting firm that focuses on the people, process, programs, and policy of various institutions and corporations. Nestor most recently served as the Chair of the Hillsborough County Diversity Advisory Council is a New Leaders Council Tampa Bay alumni class of 2017, and his best role yet… the father of two hilarious and compassionate boys!
